Varieties of honey : Comb honey

Comb Honey is also known as Card Honey and will come from the commercialized bees. The Comb Honey is where bees’ wax is manufactured and beekeepers will place the Comb in the bee box. Over the course of a few months, the bees will make honey on this comb or card, and then the beekeeper will remove the comb honey when it is full. 

Honey can be melted from the wax and separated as it is cooled and used in its most pure form. Some people like to purchase honey in this manner, as they are sure that no additives are put into their honey and some people just like the experience of using a honeycomb in this manner.

The honey that comes from the Comb Honey or the Card Honey can be put into jars and stored for months with very little problem. You can eat the wax that makes up the comb honey.
