The Honey Book Sweet as Honey

Meat recipes with honey : Honey sweet venison

Honey sweet venison

Venison steaks often have a gamey taste, but when using honey, your steaks, chops or roasts are going to taste so much different that no one will realize that they are eating venison! You are going to marinate your meat for at least twenty four hours before cooking it so give yourself plenty of time for this special meal.

After you marinade your meat, you can slice it and pour the juices over the meat and broil for the best meal ever. Broil your venison at the broil setting on your stove. Broil for fifteen minutes, flip them over, broil for fifteen minutes again, and continue pouring the juices over the meats at all times for the best flavors. Depending on how well done you ‘like your meats’ will depend how long you are going to cook your venison.

Marinade ingredients needed:
1 cup of olive oil
1 cup of melted butter
2 cups of honey
1 tbsp of salt
1 tbsp of hot sauce
3 tbsp of vinegar
