Your menstrual time is never pleasant if you are known to suffer from painful cramps or heavy periods. If you want relief, start using honey before you are ‘due’ for your period, up to three days before your period for the best results. What you need to do is to make tea sweetened with two tablespoons of honey to reduce cramping.
Hot coffee will work in a similar manner as a hot tea does. If you have access to yarrow tea, juniper tea or nettle tea, adding honey to any of these types of tea is going to help decrease the amount of pain you feel during your menstrual time.
